Deccan College of Medical Sciences (DCMS), situated in Kanchanbagh, Hyderabad, Telangana, is a reputed private minority medical institution established in 1985 under the Darus-Salam Educational Trust. The college is affiliated with Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
It is the first Muslim minority medical college in India, dedicated to providing quality medical education and healthcare services. The institution is attached to the Owaisi Hospital & Research Centre, a 1,200-bed multi-specialty teaching hospital that provides students with excellent clinical exposure and hands-on training in various disciplines.
With its long-standing reputation, strong academic base, and well-equipped hospital infrastructure, DCMS continues to be one of the prominent centers for postgraduate medical education in Hyderabad.
