Established in July 1980 by the Ananda Social and Educational Trust and named for Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, our medical college was founded to empower underprivileged communities through high-quality education. Today it is a leading private institution in the state, offering an MBBS program (150 seats annually) and 74 postgraduate seats in broad specialties, all recognized by the National Medical Council (NMC).
The secure campus integrates the college, a modern multispecialty teaching hospital, student hostels, and faculty residences. We combine strong infrastructure and an accomplished faculty with student-centered, adult-learning approaches to develop competent, confident, and lifelong medical professionals.
