First private medical college in Rajasthan with 250 MBBS, 201 MD/MS, and 64 DM/MCh seats - Leading medical education institution
MGUMST was the first private college in Rajasthan to be permitted by erstwhile Medical Council of India for an annual intake of 100 MBBS seats in 2001 which was further increased to 150 MBBS seats in 2008 and in year 2021. Currently, MGUMST is proud to have an annual intake capacity of 250 MBBS students as increased by the Honourable National Medical Commission (NMC) in 2021.
The Medical College further expanded its academics to postgraduate courses in MD/MS programmes as permitted by the erstwhile Medical Council of India in 2009. MGUMST currently has 201 MD/MS seats in 30 different disciplines for the academic session 2024-25.
In line with the evolving landscape of medical education, MGUMST introduced the DM/MCh programme in 2016. Setting itself apart from other medical colleges, both government and private, MGUMST now leads in Rajasthan with the highest number of seats, offering 64 DM/MCh positions across 23 disciplines for the academic session.
