St. John's National Academy of Health Sciences (SJNAHS), Bengaluru, established in 1963 by the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India (CBCI), is a premier self-financing private medical institution dedicated to compassionate healthcare and service to the poor. Founded as a memorial to the XXXVIII International Eucharistic Congress (1964), the institution is named after St. John the Baptist, patron of Pope John XXIII.
Situated on a 132-acre lush campus, the Academy comprises St. John's Medical College, a 1,350-bed multi-specialty hospital, a College of Nursing, a Research Institute with a cutting-edge Biorepository, and an Institute of Health Care Management and Paramedical Studies.
